KCUSA CODING PROGRAM
As a community, there is real need for us to look at what success is going to look like for our young people. We need to start investing in our youth as a long-term strategy for economic growth by exposing them to coding so they can acquire the technical skills they need to get meaningful employment.
With this, they can also be better suited to innovate solutions to the issues and challenges facing their own local communities. Please watch this page for more announcements coming up.....
HEALTHY LIVING
We need a healthy body to have a healthy mind. Being in good health is not simply the absence of disease, but rather a sense of physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing. It is important that we learn to filter our social interactions, wisely choose what we introduce into our bodies, and have good exercise and rest.
Our tradition has correctly identified positive social relationships as significant factors for our physical and emotional wellbeing. We can build on that tradition and strive to rid our minds of any negative
thoughts and maintain positive social relationships at all times.
INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES
As a community, it is our strong believe that encouraging one another, pursuing income generating opportunities, and indulging in entrepreneurship is something that will immensely benefit us individually and as a community.
Our young people should take innovation and entrepreneurship seriously. Income generating activities lead to sustainable social transformation of communities. Even if we have stable jobs, it is still very important that we think of other ways of having passive income flowing in!
